Truth in Action

About Me

Psychologist, Philosopher and ... Street Artist (?!)

It is an honor.

Usually, underneath this "about me" heading, you're supposed to praise yourself with things you've studied or achieved, to give the reader a sense of trust in your capabilities. For example that I am a certified psychologist and have spend more than 20 years studying sociology, philosophy, human behavior and religion, while working all that time as a teacher/coach and as a stage performer(!) ...

But I'm not going to do that.

(... okay, only in this sneaky way.)

My point is that in reality - when someone really needs help and insight - a resumé is actually completely irrelevant.

The only think that matters then, is the result.

So I don't want to convince you of my knowledge or capabilities based on some superficial and cliché marketing template, but based on the effect.

My name is Daniel Maliy

and I help people to understand life,

and win.

I can't help it. You get my attention if you are different.

People, behaviors and even feelings that seem to fall outside of the norm also have to get attention. There is always something behind it, whether it's a problem or a potential.

Unfortunately, people, behaviors, and feelings that "different" usually don't get the needed attention, but rejection.

After all, most people don't really know what to do with people or expressions that are different, simply because they are not willing to do the needed effort to understand them, to treat them correctly.

If you do want to learn to understand someone's exceptional character, behavior or feelings, then start with yourself.

That's how I started.

The biggest turning point of my life was when I, as a young teenager, posed a serious question of what I was actually living for.

And I don't mean as an amusing philosophical way to kill off some time once, but really as the highest necessity!

Because how can you tell if you are going in the right direction, if you don't even know where you are going...? And if walking aimlessly for fun is the goal, then one can really start doubting the actual purpose and value of that.

This question has led me to critically question and objectively evaluate really everything that I thought I knew and believed, everything that has been taught or told to me, and everything that I did and felt.

I can tell you that if you dare to go down that road, with the willingness to change anything that might turn out to be wrong, than you'll discover the greatest things about yourself, humanity, and life. It's this knowledge of life that takes away doubts, and gives clear direction, motivation, peace, joy, and drive, that lasts.

The Truth indeed sets you free,

and if you are not free, then you still are missing the Truth.

It's in my character that I love structure and order. I love entering a chaotic place and turning it into a paradise of functional tranquillity.

So for me it as an automatic though process, to want to see and understand the whole picture, and then to make it as efficient, as practical, and as simple as possible for myself.

And I'm also just as happy(if not more) to do that for someone else.

But for that I obviously first need permission, otherwise it would be "weird".
